This week we presented our game in front of the class to show our work and how are game is coming a long so far.

I think the presentation went really well, we were quite happy with the game so far we had almost everything in it that we set out to have. Everyone seemed to like our game we got a few good comments about the game.

I think over the last few weeks our group worked really well together, we set out targets for what we wanted to get done each week and if someone was struggling with their job one of us would step in and lend a helping hand.

Our game really game together I would say in the last two weeks, everyone knuckled down and worked extra hard to get our game to the standard it is at today.

The game at the moment has all the levels done they just need to be added into the game and the audio has also been recorded just need to be added in more towards the final week.

Im glad that we were able to work well as a group and ultimately produce a fun and effective e-learning game of kids.

This week we met up as a group and a greed between all of us who would design each level. I decided to create level two, this level is simple adding. The player counts how many blue , yellow and red tractors they see in the scene. The player then drags and drops the number they think is right into the box allocated for the question. If the player get the number right a tick will appear and if they get it wrong a small x will appear and farmer Finn will say some encouraging and helpful words in a speech bubble to the player to motivate them to try again.

During the group meeting on Thursday, an idea was brought up to make more levels out of level two and instead of having 3 questions for one scene e.g. How many able tractors are there and how many red tractors are there. Each question will have their own scene and maybe another scene will be added where the player will then have to count how many tractors they added up all together, The player has then completed each stage of this level.

We also decided the the levels won't have to be played in numerical order the player can choose what level they would like to play and when choosing the levels they will choose based in the icon for that level so for example for level 2 they will choose the tractor icon and then start playing the game.

This week we also picked which font we wanted to use for the logo for the game, from the ones I had collected last week we decided to choose this one as it was the one that stood out most and went with the theme of the game perfectly

This week all and all has been extremely productive as group we worked really well together and where able to produce the start of our game. I am very happy with how things are going and I think we are on track to making the game we aspired to make when we first started this project.
